An
ISO image is a digital data file that functions
are similar to a CD-ROM disc. If you have a CD-ROM
disc and the right software, you can rip CD to an ISO image.
In the meantime it can be held onto as a backup in case the original
disc is ever scratched or lost. Free ISO Grabber Wizard
is the right software to help you achieve this. Firstly you need
to download and install it.
Step 1: Select Ripping Device
Insert a CD disc that you want to rip
to ISO image into your disc drive and launch Free ISO Grabber
Wizard. The grabber scans your system and all the available drives
are displayed in the list. Select the usable disc drive
from the list (the system will select it by default if there is
only one). If you plug in new devices or change the disc in the
drive, click "Refresh" to update device list.
Step 2: Choose Output Folder
Click "Browser" to find the directory to save
the ripped ISO. The ISO image to be created is listed and you can
check the tracks to be ripped. Some file information is also displayed.
Click "Next" to start ripping
and you will see a progress. Some ripping information is also displayed.
When the progress percentage reaches 100%, the image file will be
saved in the output folder. You may click "Save Log..."
to save ripping log as a .txt file.
