Step 1: Choose Convert Wizard Mode

Launch Free YouTube Download Convert. There are two options at start. Choose "Convert audio/video (previously downloaded) from file" mode (If you want to download videos from YouTube, choose "Download video from YouTube").

Step 2: Add Files to the Task List

Click "Add Video" to add AVI videos to the conversion list. Adding multiple files in one batch is allowed. The detailed info of the added files will be displayed in the conversion window. You can remove the files by clicking the "Delete", while "Clear" will remove all. Use "Move Up" and "Move Down" buttons or just drag the listed files to queue the added files to meet your demands. You can also click "Play" button to play the selected file with the media player in your system.

Step 3: Choose the Output Settings

Click "Select" to choose the output directory. Hit "Video" tab to select "To FLV" as an output format (If you want to convert video files to audio formats, click "Audio"). Then, you can choose the format presets from the down-drop menu below. All the presets are well configured and have short description of the usages. With all the settings completed, click "Convert" to start conversion.

Step 4: Start Conversion

After you hit "Convert", some conversion information and a progress bar will be displayed within just few seconds. Select the post-process options to automatically play the sound or shut down the computer after the conversion is finished.

When the process is completed, there is a summary report about the conversion. Click "Open folder" to directly find your converted files.
